J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed a build-out for Janus Henderson Investors at 71 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago.

Janus Henderson is a leading global active asset manager helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals. The firm’s active management offers clients the opportunity to outperform passive strategies over the course of market cycles.

J.C. Anderson completed the overhaul of an existing office suite to accommodate Janus Henderson’s needs. Work included a new reception area and conference rooms, along with glass-front offices and huddle areas. This project was completed on an aggressive schedule and strived for LEED Platinum certification. JCA and Janus Henderson were successful in working together to meet all LEED criteria, while still maintaining schedule. Supply chain issues were also a challenge as LEED certification has strict material standards.

“Obtaining the LEED certification while staying within budget and on an aggressive schedule was a challenging task, but a great project team ensured our success on this project,” said JCA Project Executive Seth Erlich.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Erlich, Assistant Project Manager Cameron Helfogt and Superintendent Darrel Panfil. Ware Malcomb provided the architectural services.
