J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed a lobby and amenities build-out for Sterling Bay at 111 N. Canal Street in Chicago.

Located in the West Loop submarket of Chicago’s business district, 111 North Canal is a 16-story concrete loft office building. Sterling Bay renovated the building into a state-of-the-art LEED Platinum certified building. J.C. Anderson was hired to complete a refresh to the property’s main lobby and overhaul the amenities floor and roof deck. Construction included the addition of new conference rooms with moveable glass partitions and new lounge and bar areas. The new roof deck area features a new pergola as well as lounge areas.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Project Executive Seth Erlich and Superintendent Mike Diduch. Huntsman Architectural Group provided the architectural services.

“There were a lot of specialty items contributing to the unique design of this space, and in the current market of supply chain issues, made this project very challenging,” said Erlich. “JCA and the architectural firm Huntsman worked closely with Sterling Bay managers to proactively suggest equal or better substitution options as well as modifying the sequence of scheduling to ensure the project stayed on budget and on time.”
