J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed a spec suite, corridor and restroom build-out for Tishman Speyer at CME Center Chicago, 10 South Wacker.

CME Center Chicago consists of two twin, 40-story Class A towers with over two-million-square-feet of LEED Gold space. J.C. Anderson was hired to complete a build-out to the property’s spec suites, corridors and restrooms on the 29th floor. We recently completed a similar project on the building’s 13th floor.

Construction included renovating the building standard elevator lobby and corridor with new wood slat ceilings as well as a restroom refresh. The existing tenant space was converted into a spec suite with high-end perimeter private offices, huddle rooms, break areas and conference rooms. The space features open ceilings and glass fronts on all offices, as well as an oval reception area with specialty drapery track. Although many of the building standard finishes were discontinued, J.C. Anderson worked with their trade partners and building Ownership to find similar alternates that matched the standards and met the tight deadline for this project.

“It is very rewarding to hear people comment on how much they like the space after they see it for the first time,” said JCA Project Manager Kevin Krupchak. “It was a team effort aligning the lead times of the custom finishes with the tenant’s move-in date. We are very appreciative of the design team and ownership working with us to navigate the current supply chain climate. We look forward to continued success with the Tishman team at CME.”

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Project Executive Joe Maguire, Project Manager Kevin Krupchak and Superintendent John Spinasanto. Charlie Greene Studio provided the architectural services.
