J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed an office build-out at 200 W. Adams Street in Chicago for the newly-formed, Midwest-based managed services provider, Ascend Technologies LLC.

Ascend Technologies (Ascend) was formed in March 2020 after the acquisitions of West Monroe Partners’ Managed Services Division and Gratia, Inc by the private equity firm M/C Partners. The combined companies bring decades of managed services, cloud and infrastructure, service desk, application management and data management experience. Headquartered in Chicago, Ascend employs over 100 U.S.-based technical professionals based across the Midwest and nationally.

Ascend, who relocated from 222 W. Adams Street, selected J.C. Anderson to build-out its new office space at 200 W. Adams Street. Construction included building-out the space to create an efficient and collaborative office space, which now features open office areas, private offices, boardrooms, a lounge and café. The new space features new signage, a custom wall covering, new carpeting, paint, millwork, tile as well as entry glass.

“We could not have had a better team for this project,” said J.C. Anderson Project Executive John Angelovich. “GARNETT Architects did a fantastic job turning around submittals which helped speed up material procurement, allowing for all materials to be on site on time; this played a huge part in hitting the scheduled deadline. Ascend’s team collaboration with us and GARNETT during our weekly meetings created a smooth and successful project.”

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Angelovich, Project Manager Kayla McKinney and Superintendent Mark Zawadka. GARNETT provided the architectural services.
