J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete a renovation project for Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc.’s new corporate headquarters location at 250 East Devon Avenue in Itasca, Illinois. The company is relocating from 1300 N. Arlington Heights Road, also in Itasca.
Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc. (AHN) is comprised of four business divisions and two subsidiaries that provide innovative solutions to meet various needs of North American consumers with better taste, nutrition, health and wellness. Founded over 110 years ago, AHN is recognized as a global leader in the production of amino acid-based solutions for the pharmaceutical, food, foodservice, animal nutrition, nutraceutical, sports & wellness nutrition, regenerative medicine and personal care industries.
AHN selected J.C. Anderson to complete a 55,000 square foot build-out to the single-story office building. Scheduled for completion in March 2021, construction will include extensive slab trenching to allow for new infrastructure to accommodate AHN’s new state-of-the-art layout and design. Once complete, the new space will feature specialty artwork designed and coordinated with the Japan-based team, high-end finishes throughout, architectural ceiling panels and walk-in coolers.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson is led by Project Executive Joe Maguire, Project Managers Mike Ruffolo and Larry Regovic and Superintendent Darrel Panfil. Shive-Hattery is providing the architectural services and JLL is providing project management services.
