J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce the completion of an office renovation for ACH Foods at One Parkview Plaza in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. The project transformed Suites 115 and 500 into a modern, collaborative workplace designed to enhance employee experience while reflecting the company’s brand identity.

The renovation included the creation of a new Simmer Zone and lounge area featuring custom millwork surrounds, providing employees with a welcoming space to gather, collaborate, and recharge. The project also introduced two large, modernized conference rooms equipped with operable partitions and operable glass walls, offering flexibility for meetings, presentations, and team events.

Additional improvements included updated cafĂ© and reception areas, creating a refreshed first impression for visitors and a more engaging environment for employees. New custom branding elements featuring ACH Foods’ logo were incorporated throughout the space to reinforce the company’s culture and identity. The entire space also received fresh paint and carpeting.

One of the project’s unique challenges was completing construction while ACH Foods remained operational in an adjacent occupied area. Careful planning, communication, and coordination allowed the J.C. Anderson team to minimize disruptions while maintaining project momentum.

The team also successfully navigated extended lead times for key materials and unforeseen above-ceiling conditions encountered during construction. Through close collaboration with Partners by Design and all project stakeholders, solutions were quickly identified and implemented, keeping the project on schedule.

"This project showcases the power of teamwork and proactive problem-solving," said Josh Smith, Project Executive at J.C. Anderson. "Despite material procurement challenges and unforeseen field conditions, our team worked closely with the client and design team to deliver a space that supports ACH Foods' employees and reflects their brand."

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Project Executive Josh Smith, Project Manager Nick Catalano and Superintendent Dave Meier. Architectural Services were led by Partners by Design and Cushman & Wakefield provided Project Management Services.
