J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete a spec suite build-out for Tishman Speyer at The Franklin, 222 West Adams Street in Chicago.
Located in the Chicago Loop, The Franklin consists of two separate properties, 222 West Adams Street and 227 West Monroe Street. 222 West Adams is a 34-story building with over 930,000 square feet of rentable space. J.C. Anderson was hired to complete a spec suite build-out on the property’s 10th floor, as well as a spec suite 250, for a combined square footage of 33,000.
The spaces will feature high-end wall coverings, a specialty plaster elevator lobby, screen wall covering and curved planter box clad with specialty tiling at reception and a continuous architectural soffit that winds throughout the space. There will also be an upscale café with a new coffee bar and custom powder-coated, metal framed shelving hung from the ceiling over a quartz island. The project will be completed in January 2022.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson is led by Senior Project Manager Matt Kantro and Superintendent Mike Diduch. Charlie Greene Studio is providing the architectural services.
