J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed an extensive renovation to Patagonia’s retail store at 1115 West Fulton Market in Chicago, including a modification to the exterior storefront.

Founded in 1973, Patagonia is an outdoor apparel company based in Ventura, California with a mission to save our home planet. The company is recognized internationally for its commitment to authentic product quality and environmental activism, donating 1% of sales annually, contributing over $100 million in grants and in-kind donations since 1985.

Construction included storefront modifications to the masonry wall and the build-out of a sales area, Worn Wear resale area and back-of-the-house areas including a break and stock room. The space features high-end millwork details throughout, exposed ceilings and polished concrete floors. “The great collaboration with the teams at Patagonia, AMPS and EPOCH resulted in being able to build Patagonia a new home in Chicago that hopefully contributes to their success well into the future. JCA is proud to have been part of this partnership,” said Matt Kantro, Senior Project Manager at JCA.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Senior Project Manager Matt Kantro, Assistant Project Manager Cameron Helfogt and Superintendent Dave Panfil.  EPOCH provided the architectural services and AMPS provided project management services for ownership.
