J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed renovations to The Metropolitan, a 40,000-square-foot club located on the 66th and 67th floors within the Willis Tower in Chicago. The Metropolitan is a member of the ClubCorp family of clubs.
The club, which also hosts private events such as weddings, parties and corporate meetings, remained open throughout the renovations. J.C. Anderson also renovated the East Meeting Room to include a new buffet banquet bar with new tile and top, carpet, wood flooring, lighting and wall finishes. In addition, upgrades were made to the 66th floor meeting rooms as well to include new carpet, wood refinishing, wall finishes and new lighting.
Founded in 1957, the Dallas, Texas-based ClubCorp owns or operates more than 200 golf and country clubs, business clubs, sports clubs and alumni clubs in 27 states, the District of Columbia and two foreign countries. ClubCorp selected J.C. Anderson to complete the renovations to The Metropolitan.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Project Executive Joe Maguire, Project Manager Larry Regovic and Superintendent Greg Wysocki. Gonzalez Architects provided architectural services.
