J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete a 40,000 square foot amenity floor and lobby build-out at The Sullivan Center, 1 S. State Street in Chicago.
Formerly known as the Carson, Pirie, Scott and Company Building, 1 S. State Street is located in the heart of Chicago at the corner of East Madison Street. Part of the Loop Retail Historic District, 1 S. State Street has been used for retail purposes since 1899 and has been a Chicago Landmark since 1975.
J.C. Anderson was hired to complete a build-out to the property’s 7th floor amenities as well as the Wabash entrance lobby. Set for completion in December, construction will include the addition of a fitness center with full locker room facilities, a conference center and a bar/lounge. J.C. Anderson will also refresh the lobby with a layout and design that enhances the hospitality feel.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson is led by Project Executive Joe Hynes, Senior Project Manager Jason Hawkins and Superintendent Joe Rojas. Perkins & Will is providing the architectural services and JLL is the project manager for ownership.
