J.C. Anderson has been selected to complete a 15,000-square-foot office project for Nouryon at 141 W. Jackson Boulevard in Chicago’s historic Chicago Board of Trade Building. The project will establish a new workplace for the global specialty chemicals company within one of the city’s most recognizable commercial landmarks.
The project scope included a high-end conference center with a fully integrated audiovisual (AV) system, an open-concept breakroom and café, a secondary pantry for guests and clients, and dedicated Microsoft Teams and focus rooms. Additional features include custom demountable office fronts, and a custom millwork reception area designed to create a welcoming entrance for guests and employees.
The project required extensive budget management, detailed coordination and an aggressive construction schedule to meet the required move-in date while maintaining the desired quality and functionality of the space.
