J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce the completion of an office renovation for Amadeus Hospitality at 150 N. Martingale Road in Schaumburg, Illinois. The project transformed the workplace into a vibrant, retro-inspired office that blends distinctive design elements with flexible, high-performance workspaces.

Designed by STL Architects, the renovation showcases a bold interior aesthetic while enhancing functionality for employees and visitors alike. Throughout the space, acoustical treatments and custom architectural features were thoughtfully integrated to create an engaging and comfortable workplace. The project features a demountable wall system that provides long-term flexibility as workplace needs evolve, along with acoustical panels, an open-office acoustic baffle system, and perforated acoustical gypsum ceilings that improve sound control throughout the office. A custom curved solid surface reception desk serves as a striking focal point, complemented by custom metal column enclosures that reinforce the project’s unique design character.

One of the project's primary challenges was coordinating construction with a client team located outside the local market while navigating industry-wide material lead times. The J.C. Anderson team worked proactively with project partners to identify alternate products for long-lead materials, including the open ceiling grid and lighting systems, ensuring the project remained on schedule without compromising the overall design intent.

“This project is a great example of how collaboration and creative problem-solving can overcome complex project challenges,” said Jon Zawiski, Project Executive at J.C. Anderson. “Our team worked closely with the design partners and trade contractors to deliver a workplace that reflects Amadeus Hospitality’s culture while maintaining the quality and attention to detail our clients expect.”

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Project Executive Jon Zawiski, Project Manager Desiree Kupchek and Superintendent Eric Geisen. Architectural Services were led by STL Architects.
