Rapid growth and a need for a single employee-centric workspace led Paylocity, a cloud-based provider of payroll and human capital management software solutions, to move its headquarters from Arlington Heights to a Schaumburg office tower. The 14-floor, 300,000 sq. ft. buildout was phased and took a year to complete.

THE
WORK
CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS
The five-phase project centered on creating an open office for maximum flexibility and collaboration. This called for an extensive data center and a Learning Center, complete with a library and a gaming area. Training rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology, multiple office floors with open seating and lounge spaces, and an executive floor featuring high-end glass panels and millwork rounded out the space.
THE
RESULT
From the preconstruction process to completing budgets early and reusing existing materials, we introduced several money-saving opportunities throughout this project. The Paylocity buildout was completed ahead of schedule, allowing the company to house the entire team in one bright, open space while continuing to attract and retain talent.
