J.C. Anderson is proud to announce the completion of a full-floor renovation for Altair Advisers at 225 W. Washington in Chicago. The project revitalized the existing workspace into a highly functional environment designed to support collaboration, privacy, and employee well-being.

The renovation included the construction of a new lounge area, private offices, renovated conference rooms, and open collaboration spaces that provide flexibility for both focused work and team engagement. Each space was thoughtfully executed to reflect Altair Advisers’ professional culture while enhancing day-to-day functionality.

The newly created lounge area serves as a welcoming hub for informal meetings and employee connection, while upgraded conference rooms feature improved layouts and finishes to support client-facing presentations and internal strategy sessions. Private offices offer quiet, dedicated spaces for focused work, and the open collaboration areas encourage spontaneous interaction, town halls, training, and teamwork.

Workplace renovations of this kind do more than update finishes—they directly impact staff performance and satisfaction. By providing a variety of work settings, employees can choose environments that best support their tasks, leading to increased productivity, stronger collaboration, and improved morale.

“Delivering spaces that elevate the everyday experience for our clients’ teams is what drives our work,” said JCA CEO Joe Maguire. “We’re proud to have partnered with Altair Advisers to create a workplace that supports their continued growth and success.”

J.C. Anderson’s project team was led in the field by Superintendent John Spinasanto. ACRE provided construction management and Box Studios provided architectural services.
