J.C. Anderson is excited to announce the firm has been selected to complete a 190,000 sq. ft. backfill project for 300 N. LaSalle in Chicago. The project involves the demolition and white boxing of eight vacant tenant floors, preparing them for future leasing opportunities. This process includes the complete removal of existing interior finishes, non-structural partitions, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems back to base building conditions, creating a clean slate for potential tenants.

In addition to the white boxing, the project also includes common area upgrades on two occupied tenant floors. These upgrades will enhance shared spaces, ensuring they meet modern design and functionality standards while maintaining minimal disruption to existing tenants. Through careful coordination and phased construction planning, this project will revitalize underutilized floors while elevating the experience for current occupants, positioning the property as a premier leasing opportunity in the market.

The project is managed by The Irvine Company. JCA’s team includes Project Executive Josh Smith, Project Manager Nick Sinitzki, Assistant Project Manager Fernando Chavez and Superintendent Darrel Panfil. Work started in March and is expected to be completed by August 2025.
