J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed an office buildout for Kin + Carta at 111 N. Canal in Chicago, helping the company to relocate from their space within the building.

The space features a live moss wall installed as a central design element, integrating natural greenery into the interior to promote a sense of well-being and biophilia. Complementing this is a new, custom-designed reception desk that serves as a focal point at the entrance, providing a welcoming first impression for visitors and employees. The existing breakroom has been completely renovated to offer a modern and comfortable space for employees to relax and recharge. To facilitate flexible and collaborative meetings, custom mobile tiered townhall bench seating has been installed. This innovative seating solution is designed to support dynamic interactions and can be easily reconfigured to suit various event types and group sizes, enhancing the space’s versatility. In addition to the installation of energy-efficient, modern lighting fixtures, an advanced audio-visual package has been integrated into the space, along with new furniture.

“This was a challenging project with a tight schedule,” said Project Manager Nick Sinitzki. “The project teams worked together to stay on schedule and through thoughtful design and careful execution, the vibrant space now meets the current and future needs of Kin + Carta for years to come.”

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Nick Sinitzki and Superintendent Joe Rojas. Baumann Studios provided architectural services and JLL provided project management services.
