THE
WORK
BASE BUILDING AMENITY
This versatile, multi-level space is located at the top of the Grand Stair.
The buildout’s high-end features included a private dining facility with a large door made of walnut and blackened steel, a grand hall lounge with open tables conducive to meetings, and circular bathrooms with porcelain-tiled ceilings.
THE
RESULT
Staying in constant communication with the entire project team via frequent meetings and check-ins enabled us to successfully complete this 20-week project. Close collaboration also led to minimal disruption in a high-traffic building. The addition of this 12,000 sq. ft. cafe and bar helped further the Mart’s efforts to serve as the city’s leading tech center — helping drive Chicago’s economy in the process.
