ELMHURST, IL – J.C. Anderson, Inc. is pleased to announce that 25-year industry veteran, Michael Yazbec, has joined the full-service construction firm as Executive Vice President.

“We are pleased to welcome Mike to our team,” said Thomas Bean, President of Construction Operations for J.C. Anderson, Inc. “His extensive experience in the commercial construction market will be a valuable asset to our business development efforts as well as to our existing clientele.”

Yazbec joins J.C. Anderson, Inc. from Jones Lang LaSalle where he was previously employed as the Managing Director of Midwest Construction Services and secured more than $30 million in projects within the last two years. In his new role with J.C. Anderson, Inc., Yazbec will serve on the company’s Board as well as lead new business development, strategy and marketing to assist with the firm’s expansion efforts.

Yazbec joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2005 in the Project and Development Services Group. He was then promoted to lead the firm’s construction services division in 2009. Prior to his tenure with Jones Lang LaSalle, Yazbec served in management rolls with Charles Hall Construction, LLC and Turner Construction in Chicago. He holds a master’s degree in Architecture with a concentration in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Yazbec currently resides in Orland Park, Illinois.
