THE

WORK

UPGRADED LIBRARY

The library needed to remain open and functional during the renovations necessitating detailed preconstruction planning and arriving at a phasing plan to meet the University’s requirements. The major renovation portion of the work totaled almost 29,000 square feet on the first floor. Located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park Neighborhood, J.C. Anderson completed interior alterations to the existing partitions, finishes, doors, frames and hardware.  The project featured upgrades for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as well as a new fire protection system.  In addition, high-end millwork design elements throughout the space, including a barrel drywall ceiling and millwork finishes, were incorporated.

THE

RESULT

Starting with design planning and an intense preconstruction process to ensure schedule and budget were maintained, J.C. Anderson helped deliver a classically beautiful space with the latest in AV & technology upgrades.
