CHICAGO, IL – J.C. Anderson, Inc. is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete a two-floor gut rehab for the Italian luxury goods retailer, Salvatore Ferragamo at 645 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A. is an Italian luxury goods company, with headquarters in Florence, specializing in shoes, leather goods, and ready-to-wear for men and women. It is the parent company of the Ferragamo Group. J.C. Anderson, Inc. was selected to complete an extensive renovation to the first and second floors of the Mag Mile property to accommodate the expanding store.
The project will include the complete demolition and reconstruction of the interior space utilizing a variety of luxury, Italian-made materials. J.C. Anderson, Inc. will construct a new stone façade and store front featuring Italian stone, and the interior will showcase Italian millwork, stone, lighting and intricately detailed ceilings. The project also includes the addition of a new, independent cooling system, a stairway from the first to second floor and an elevator. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2013.
Joe Maguire is the project executive, Matt Kantro is the project manager, and Joe Rojas is the project superintendent for J.C. Anderson, Inc. VOA Associates is providing the architectural services.
