(Elmhurst, Illinois) – J.C. Anderson, Inc. is pleased to announce that the firm has completed a build-out for Brick CrossFit at 55 E. Monroe Street in Chicago.
Founded in 2010, Brick CrossFit is a boutique gym that utilizes CrossFit methodology throughout their training programs. The firm currently has locations in Los Angeles, New York City and Boston. J.C. Anderson, Inc. was hired to complete the 10,000 square foot build-out expanding Brick CrossFit to this new location in Chicago. The construction included full height warehouse garage doors to connect three workout studios, a high-end audio system controlled by iPads as well as multiple large flat screen TVs synced with heart rate monitors for gym members to use. Other key features include high-end locker rooms with black tile finishes and a reception desk covered with iconic Chicago red brick with black solid surface counters.
J.C. Anderson, Inc.’s John Angelovich was the project executive and Matt Kantro was the project manager. Rick Joutras of Whitney Architects provided the architectural services. Brick CrossFit’s new Chicago location is set to open in October of 2015.
